Gold is the natural color of baitfish scales catching warm light — the amber flash of golden shiners, the flanks of perch turning in late-afternoon sun, the belly-up glint of a wounded smelt. The Goldilocks captures this in a warm, all-gold finish that reads as natural forage in any freshwater system. The 0.65 volt galvanic current makes it the only gold spoon that feels as alive as it looks.

Walleye are the Goldilocks' primary target. Gold produces best during the low-light feeding windows that walleye dominate — dawn, dusk, overcast days, and the hour after dark. Their tapetum lucidum amplifies the warm gold flash while their lateral line picks up the galvanic charge from beyond visual range. In stained water, where walleye feed most aggressively, the gold flash maintains visibility while silver washes out. The electrical charge reaches even further, drawing fish in before they see the lure.

Lake trout respond to gold year-round, particularly over rocky substrate where the warm tone mimics the gold-bellied sculpin and juvenile perch they feed on. Troll at 1.5–2.5 mph along structure breaks and mid-lake humps.

Not too flashy, not too subtle — the Goldilocks is exactly the right amount of everything. Including voltage.

Stainless steel. Ball bearing swivel. Made in North America.

As you know Al, Peter and I sell your Lurecharge products at Kitty Coleman Provincial Park on Vancouver Island for the third year now.  With all the pretty new spoon colours I picked the 4.0 army truck for my choice to start out the year. Well it didn’t let me down.’' I caught a 16 pd chinook within an hour.  So bragging my fish to the whole world, I made a sale to Mike (the guy up the road) and he went out three days later and caught a halibut, a pacific cod and a nice spring. Mike then purchase a second 4.0 army truck and took his dad out the following day and wouldn’t you know it ANOTHER halibut and a chinook. This is unheard of here. We might get three halibut the whole year.  Now we are selling out of this lure. I also used a lemon lime 4.0 last year with great success so hats off to you Al, keep up the great charge...ps Here are the pictures to prove it!
