The Irish Hex GLOW is a 5-inch voltage-tuned galvanic spoon with a green-and-gold hexagonal pattern over a phosphorescent glow base — a direct imitation of the scaled appearance of perch, smelt, and emerald shiners that Great Lakes salmon, walleye, and lake trout feed on relentlessly. The hex pattern replicates individual scales, the green/gold matches the natural forage color, the glow maintains visibility at depth, and the 0.65 volt galvanic current provides the bioelectric signature of a living baitfish.

In the Great Lakes, perch and smelt are the foundation of the food web. Every major predator keys on them. The Irish Hex GLOW matches this forage so accurately that when run behind a flasher at 18–24 inches of leader, it becomes the most realistic perch/smelt imitation in your trolling spread — and the only one with an electrical charge.

The glow charges under any light source and provides visibility at depths past 100 feet. The green/gold hex pattern is particularly effective for walleye, whose tapetum lucidum amplifies green light and whose UV-sensitive eyes see this pattern more vividly than any angler can. The galvanic charge adds the lateral-line trigger that converts detection into strikes.

Troll at 1.5–2.5 mph for chinook, 2.0–3.0 for coho. Run deep for lakers and salmon, mid-column for walleye.

Made in North America.

As you know Al, Peter and I sell your Lurecharge products at Kitty Coleman Provincial Park on Vancouver Island for the third year now.  With all the pretty new spoon colours I picked the 4.0 army truck for my choice to start out the year. Well it didn’t let me down.’' I caught a 16 pd chinook within an hour.  So bragging my fish to the whole world, I made a sale to Mike (the guy up the road) and he went out three days later and caught a halibut, a pacific cod and a nice spring. Mike then purchase a second 4.0 army truck and took his dad out the following day and wouldn’t you know it ANOTHER halibut and a chinook. This is unheard of here. We might get three halibut the whole year.  Now we are selling out of this lure. I also used a lemon lime 4.0 last year with great success so hats off to you Al, keep up the great charge...ps Here are the pictures to prove it!
