The Bloody Irish Glow takes the proven Irish green-and-gold pattern and adds a blood-red accent — transforming a forage match into a wounded forage match. In nature, injured baitfish emit stronger, more erratic bioelectric signals than healthy ones. Predatory fish preferentially target injured prey because it's an easy meal. The 0.65 volt galvanic current replicates that wounded-baitfish electrical signature while the blood-red visual sells the injury.

This 5-inch voltage-tuned galvanic spoon is designed for trolling behind flashers when predators are in active search mode — keying on distressed prey signals rather than healthy schools. The red accent reads as blood or injury against the green/gold forage-match background, triggering the predatory instinct to pick off the weakest member of the school. The galvanic charge confirms through the lateral line what the eyes are seeing: damaged, struggling, vulnerable prey.

The phosphorescent glow base maintains visibility in deep and dark water. Run it on downriggers at 60–150 feet for Great Lakes chinook and lake trout, or mid-column for coho and walleye. The Bloody Irish Glow produces best during active feeding windows — dawn, dusk, and the moon-phase feeding periods that experienced anglers track.

18–24" leader behind a flasher. 1.5–3.0 mph. The only wounded-baitfish spoon with a galvanic charge. Made in North America.

I wish the red dot had been painted rather than a sticker.

As you know Al, Peter and I sell your Lurecharge products at Kitty Coleman Provincial Park on Vancouver Island for the third year now.  With all the pretty new spoon colours I picked the 4.0 army truck for my choice to start out the year. Well it didn’t let me down.’' I caught a 16 pd chinook within an hour.  So bragging my fish to the whole world, I made a sale to Mike (the guy up the road) and he went out three days later and caught a halibut, a pacific cod and a nice spring. Mike then purchase a second 4.0 army truck and took his dad out the following day and wouldn’t you know it ANOTHER halibut and a chinook. This is unheard of here. We might get three halibut the whole year.  Now we are selling out of this lure. I also used a lemon lime 4.0 last year with great success so hats off to you Al, keep up the great charge...ps Here are the pictures to prove it!
