Material

The Greenling is built for perch water. If your lake has yellow perch in the forage base — and most Great Lakes, inland lakes, and reservoirs do — this is the pattern that matches what walleye, smallmouth bass, and lake trout are already eating. The natural green baitfish pattern replicates the olive-green back and scaled flanks of juvenile perch, gobies, and sculpins. The 0.65 volt galvanic current makes it the only perch-pattern spoon with a bioelectric pulse.

Green wavelengths penetrate freshwater better than any other visible color, giving the Greenling superior detection range at depth and distance. Walleye are uniquely equipped to see it — their tapetum lucidum amplifies green light, and their UV-sensitive cone cells extend their color perception into wavelengths where green patterns appear even more vivid. The galvanic charge activates their lateral line from beyond visual range, creating a two-stage attraction: electrical detection first, visual acquisition second.

Smallmouth bass on rocky Great Lakes structure crush this pattern. Lake trout feeding on gobies along bottom contours hit it at depth. Even chinook respond to green patterns when the forage base includes smelt and emerald shiners.

Troll at 1.0–2.0 mph for walleye. 1.5–2.5 for salmon and lakers. Cast structure for smallmouth.

Stainless steel. Ball bearing swivel. Made in North America.

As you know Al, Peter and I sell your Lurecharge products at Kitty Coleman Provincial Park on Vancouver Island for the third year now.  With all the pretty new spoon colours I picked the 4.0 army truck for my choice to start out the year. Well it didn’t let me down.’' I caught a 16 pd chinook within an hour.  So bragging my fish to the whole world, I made a sale to Mike (the guy up the road) and he went out three days later and caught a halibut, a pacific cod and a nice spring. Mike then purchase a second 4.0 army truck and took his dad out the following day and wouldn’t you know it ANOTHER halibut and a chinook. This is unheard of here. We might get three halibut the whole year.  Now we are selling out of this lure. I also used a lemon lime 4.0 last year with great success so hats off to you Al, keep up the great charge...ps Here are the pictures to prove it!
