Material

The Glow Red/White Nasty Boy is a 5-inch voltage-tuned galvanic spoon that combines phosphorescent glow with the classic red-and-white wounded-baitfish color scheme. Red and white is one of the oldest proven color combinations in fishing — it mimics a bleeding, injured prey fish — and the glow finish ensures visibility persists in deep water, pre-dawn darkness, and the low-light conditions where big salmon feed most actively. The 0.65 volt galvanic current completes the wounded-baitfish illusion with the bioelectric field that injured prey actually produce.

Wounded fish emit stronger, more erratic bioelectric signatures than healthy ones. The galvanic charge from this spoon replicates that distress signal through the fish's lateral line, while the glow provides visual acquisition at depths past 100 feet where red has long since disappeared from the visible spectrum. The red appears as a dark contrast against the glowing white, maintaining the "wounded" profile even at depth.

Run behind a flasher on 18–24 inches of leader. Charge the glow with a UV lamp before dropping. At typical chinook trolling depths (60–150 feet), the Glow Red/White outperforms non-glow patterns dramatically during dawn, dusk, and overcast conditions. Coho at shallower sets respond to the aggressive red/white flash.

The only glow spoon with a galvanic charge. Made in North America.

As you know Al, Peter and I sell your Lurecharge products at Kitty Coleman Provincial Park on Vancouver Island for the third year now.  With all the pretty new spoon colours I picked the 4.0 army truck for my choice to start out the year. Well it didn’t let me down.’' I caught a 16 pd chinook within an hour.  So bragging my fish to the whole world, I made a sale to Mike (the guy up the road) and he went out three days later and caught a halibut, a pacific cod and a nice spring. Mike then purchase a second 4.0 army truck and took his dad out the following day and wouldn’t you know it ANOTHER halibut and a chinook. This is unheard of here. We might get three halibut the whole year.  Now we are selling out of this lure. I also used a lemon lime 4.0 last year with great success so hats off to you Al, keep up the great charge...ps Here are the pictures to prove it!
